PROFESSIONAL CYCLING RACE SIMULATION
RollCycling recreates the tactical and constantly changing dynamics of professional road cycling competition. The game currently includes three different stages: Criterium, Queen Stage, and Time Trial.
Each stage presents unique terrain conditions, tactical situations, rider behaviors, and race evolution inspired by real cycling events.
CRITERIUM
- Fast urban racing
- Constant overtakes
- Aggressive attacks
- Dynamic crashes
- Recommended with 2 laps for deeper race evolution
QUEEN STAGE
- Mountain strategy
- Fatigue management
- Terrain adaptation
- Climber and sprinter dynamics
- Endurance-focused gameplay
TIME TRIAL
- Individual precision
- Timing and efficiency
- Solo race pressure
- Consistent pacing
- Performance optimization
UNDERSTAND THE WORLD OF CYCLING
Cycling fans will recognize tactical situations inspired by real competition: attacks, breakaways, crashes, positioning battles, fatigue, mountain pressure, sprint opportunities, and unpredictable race development.
Players unfamiliar with cycling will gradually begin to understand the physical and mental demands experienced by professional and amateur cyclists during competition.
The game attempts to simulate how terrain, timing, rider condition, overtakes, incidents, and tactical movement can completely transform the outcome of a stage.
DYNAMIC RACE EVOLUTION
Every race develops differently. Although dice mechanics introduce unpredictability, rider positioning and tactical situations constantly influence the evolution of the competition.
ATTACKS
Riders may suddenly gain tactical advantages and launch aggressive race movements.
BREAKAWAYS
Unexpected race gaps and tactical separation can change the rhythm of the competition.
CRASHES
Collisions and incidents may affect rider condition, positioning, and race momentum.
FATIGUE
Terrain and race pressure constantly affect rider performance during the stage.
THE CONTROL PANEL
Each stage includes an interactive race control panel used to manage the competition and monitor race progression.
RACE DICE
Controls movement and introduces tactical unpredictability similar to real cycling competition.
FOUR CYCLISTS
Four riders compete simultaneously while interacting through overtakes, crashes, and tactical movement.
LAP SYSTEM
Tracks race progression and changes race behavior as the stage evolves.
RIDER STATES
Cyclists may experience strength boosts, fatigue, incidents, crashes, or tactical recovery.
SPECIAL ZONES
Different route zones affect rider condition and tactical opportunities throughout the race.
RACE TIMING
Displays race progression and overall stage development.
SPECIAL ROUTE ZONES
Throughout the route, cyclists may enter different zones capable of changing race behavior and rider condition.
YELLOW ZONES
Speed-oriented tactical opportunities and aggressive race moments.
RED ZONES
Strength-related situations affecting rider performance.
VIOLET ZONES
Fatigue and endurance pressure during competition.
UNPREDICTABLE OUTCOMES
No race evolves exactly the same way. Different combinations of attacks, crashes, rider states, tactical movement, terrain effects, and dice outcomes constantly transform the final classification.
Players are encouraged to continue racing until the final moments of the stage, where the competition can still dramatically change.
The objective of RollCycling is not only to race, but also to experience the tactical evolution, unpredictability, and endurance of professional cycling competition.
